Bye Aerospace developed and made operational the first-ever eFlyer 2 all-electric conventional takeoff and landing aircraft (eCTOL) flight simulator in early 2024. The simulated eFlyer 2 performance was developed through a third party and Laminar Research, a leading flight simulation software developer of the widely acclaimed XPlane flight simulation software. The result of Bye Aerospace’s efforts was to bring to life the exacting looks and forecast performance of their eFlyer 2 design.

Bye Aerospace recently (September) initiated the fabrication and assembly of eFlyer 2 Serial Number 0001. This full-scale aircraft represents the years of innovative and hard work by the Bye Aerospace team in helping the FAA develop the electric propulsion rules in Part 23, Amendment 64 certification rules. They are now in execution mode in starting to build the structure an all-composite design we developed in-house with the aid of Siemens NX software. The team intend to later integrate the necessary systems to make it airworthy and fly.
