The Next Step For The Battery Show

The organizers of The Battery Show, Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo and Critical Power Expo North America have some very exciting news to share about the future of these co-located events. UBM plc recently acquired the three shows and will work alongside current organizers, Smarter Shows, to further develop these brands and the value proposition they offer to exhibitors and supporters.

The growth of these events has been a real testament to three very strong and growing industries and Smarter Shows is delighted that this North American portfolio will now benefit from the experience and resources of the largest events organizer in the US. The Advanced Manufacturing Group within UBM’s Americas division is the leading events producer for the global advanced manufacturing industry, with eight annual and three biennial events, including Medical Design and Manufacturing, the world’s largest medical design and manufacturing event; International Powder and Bulk Solids, North America’s largest and longest running dry material processing event; and DesignCon, an annual event hub for chip, board and systems design engineers.

Smarter Shows look forward to working with you again next year as they continue to manage the 2017 North American show. Ownership of The Battery Show Europe and Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo Europe remains unchanged, and all event brands will see ongoing investment.
