NH Research is introducing its newest EV/HEV Battery Cycler at The Battery Show 2011. The Cycler is built around modular, independent, 12 kW bi-directional loads (DC load and DC source) that recycle discharge energy back onto the utility line. For configuration flexibility, the loads can be used individually or combined up to 100 kW. Use of the Cycler is greatly simplified through a Touch-Panel display that provides a graphical programing interface along with real-time charting of voltage and current waveforms.

NH Research designs and manufactures diagnostic test equipment used to functionally test several types of electronic power devices such as EV/HEV batteries, DC  power supplies, converters, telecom rectifiers, chargers, adapters, inverters and UPSs.  NHR test equipment consists of both power instruments such as AC and DC programmable loads as well as automated test systems controlled through a full-featured test executive on a PC. Applications include production test, engineering characterization, agency certification/qualification, and depot repair. Located in Irvine, California, Shenzhen and Suzhou, China, NH Research has been in the power electronics test equipment business for over 30 years.
