The MN-HP series cells use electrode materials with a proven commercial record, including graphite anodes and lithium metal mixed-oxide cathodes, to ensure an excellent cycle life and safety record.

The cells have 50-70% higher energy density than typical phosphate cells. Higher energy density cells require fewer materials to reach their intended capacity. This equates to both a lower cost of production and a lower safety risk, due to less flammable electrolytes present in the cell.

The MN-HP cells are available in 30Ah- 40Ah format. Unlike many other commercial lithium-ion battery manufacturers, Electrovaya uses a proprietary non-toxic production process that avoids massive quantities of the toxic n-methyl pyrrolidone, suspected of causing birth defects.
