The former Rock Financial Showplace has unveiled the new name for the facility: the Suburban Collection Showplace.
In a multi-year, multi-million dollar deal signed with Troy-based car dealership, The Suburban Collection. Boasting 320,000 square-foot conference and exhibition center, Suburban Collection Showplace, formerly known as Rock Financial Showplace, will be home to The Battery Show 2011, taking place 25, 26, 27 October 2011.
Speaking on the facility’s renaming, Suburban Collection chairman and CEO David T. Fischer said: "The high-profile nature of this facility coupled with nearly limitless promotional and cross-promotional opportunities will make our partnership a 'win-win' for all involved -- including for Showplace visitors, our Suburban Collection customers and the area community."
